May 7th. This was a lovely evening on 'the history of photography'. First there was an informative DVD, then Judy and Dennis showed us their amazing darkroom equipment, and how it was used etc. Clifford then gave a superb talk on his many years exxperience in photography. Well done to all!

April 30th saw a great workshop, run by Ian, on Histograms. We all learned such a lot about what histograms show us in-camera, and how to get the best from our photography. It was a good, informative, night.

April 23rd was our Annual Competition. With Judge Penny Piddock DPAGB, AFIAP. What a great turn out! We have the most amazing photographs seen this year, and Penny had a difficult job choosing the winners! Please see our competition page for the results.

April 9th saw us have a Photography Quiz night! We had teams of members, and some good questionares that made us all think!

April 2nd. We had a practical evening with our cameras, as Ian instructed us all how to set up a complete home studio set-up. We then all photographed various small objects, as Ian gave us all some great info about lighting etc. and how to get the best out of photographing glass. There were lots of chance to put our cameras onto Manual mode, and learn new things. Huge thanks to Ian Johnson for his continuing invaluable help and expertise.

March 26th saw a Judges Forum with the theme of 'Ageing'. Judge was Drew Lawrence. There were some superbly thought out entries to be seen, with Drew having a hard job to pick out the best!

March 12th saw our AGM. (Annual General Meeting) This was a well turned out evening with lots of members attending.

March 5th. This saw us have our Judges forum that was cancelled back in January. The Judge was the lovely John Scaife. We had a theme of 'Light'. Well done to our many members who brought in such a wonderful, diverse collection of images!

Feb 26th. Judges Forum night with Judge Margaret Collis Hon EFIAP, DPAGB, APAGB, ARPS. This was a great night, with lots of members images being shown. Margaret gave us her excellent opinions and great deal of good advice too. We all had a wonderful evening.
